About Deirdre Kelly

Deirdre Kelly is a 28-year old freelance music photographer & writer from Boston, MA but is often found traveling all over the East Coast for gigs. She started taking photos at shows the moment she started attending them regularly (around 2011) with a Sony Cybershot point-and-shoot camera. She eventually upgraded to a Sony mirrorless camera in 2019 & the rest was history.

She’s since graduated from Pace University in 2017 with a Bachelors in Music Business & has been doing everything she can to be a part of the music industry, from marketing to booking.

Deirdre is currently at one of Boston’s newest music venues, Roadrunner, working as their merchandise representative. She also works some side-gigs for VIP events with On Location, On The List, & VIP Nation, all while contributing photography & writing for online publications. In the fall of 2021, she started her own online music publication striving to showcase underrepresented talent called Noisescape Magazine, where she manages everything herself (graphic design, social media management, magazine distribution, website maintenance, etc.) with over 30 contributing writers & photographers. A major goal for her is to be able to tour as a music photographer & never takes any opportunity for granted.
